The goal of the South Milwaukee Recreation Department and the Schroeder Swim School is to help people learn to love the water, develop competent and confident swimmers, and have fun while doing it! Learning to swim is different than learning other activities; becoming a strong swimmer is not only fun, but is a lifesaving skill as well. Strong swimmers will have activities they can participate in for life!

I. Excellent Facility - located at 901 15 avenue; park in the lot on the east side of the high school and and enter through door #34
II. Student-Centered Classes - smaller class sizes allow our instructors to focus on each student’s progress
