We are excited to announce that Sarah’s Triple Threat, Chiseled and Cardio Dance Classes are moving to a new location. Classes will now be in the Middle School Tech Ed Classroom on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday beginning the week of December 9.   This move will allow us to enroll twice as may students for Sarah’s classes.

The classroom is located on the far southeast corner of the Middle School.  You may park in the lot behind the Middle School and enter DOOR #49.

Triple Threat
Looking for variety in your workout? Divided into three segments - cardio, toning and core work - you'll be getting a little bit of everything in one action packed 50-minute class, leaving you feeling like you got a total body workout! Cardio segments will consist of drills, cardio kickboxing, step and floor aerobics. We'll utilize steps, stability balls and hand weights for toning, and will push your core to its limits. This class will definitely keep you on your toes!

NEW Cardio Dance
This upbeat dance-based cardio class is designed to get you moving groving to burn calories by combining fast and slow rhythms with medium and low-impact aerobic moves.  Hip hop, jazz, funk all combined to create a fun, who body workout

PIYO® LIVE combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of flowing yoga movements. You'll use your body weight to perform a series of continuous, targeted moves to define every single muscle?big and small.

But there's no time to stop and chat because you wont, you will push it. We crank up the music, the speed, and the fun to give you an intense, yet low-impact workout that will burn crazy calories for a long, lean, beautiful physique. And, there?s no need to spend hours hopping from class to class. Youll sweat, stretch, and strengthen all in one empowering PiYo LIVE workout!

NEW Bar-less Barre
This class fuses pilates, yoga, aerobics and strength training. Barre is for all bodies, any fitness level, and is a low or no-impact workout. Class is designed to tone every muscle of the body while improving posture, balance, and flexibility. 

Step’n Strength
Burn calories and increase metabolism with the perfect combination of cardio and strength training. Fun, easy to follow step choreography will be paired with upper and lower body toning, as well as core work. A great overall workout!


This class is the ultimate sculpting experience designed to challenge both your muscular strength and muscular endurance.  Every muscle group is targeted, leaving you with a totally defined and toned body!

Zumba®    We have added a second class beginning in Spring on Thursdays 6:00 PM at Blakewood
"Zumba is a fusion of mostly Latin and other International music. The class combines fast and slow rhythms, allowing participants to achieve a unique blend of cardio and muscle-toning benefits.  Ditch the Workout; join the party!

Pilate's is an innovative way to  improve flexibility, balance, coordination.  Improve your posture and realign your spine while strengthening your core musculature.   Please bring your own mat.

Gentle Yoga & Vinyasa Yoga 
Choose your style.  Gentle Yoga - We've added blocks and bands for our methods to offer a different level of stability and standardization.  The word "Vinyasa" literally means, "to place in a certain way." It is used to describe the linking of breath with movement during a Vinyasa Yoga class, a style that includes, but is not limited to, Ashtanga, Flow, and Power Yoga.  Yoga helps develop a healthy mind and body.  Reduce stress, increase muscular strength, and learn to “go within” to experience peace and restoration, while focusing on proper breathing techniques and correct posture alignment.  Please bring your own mat.

Hydro Aerobic Weight Water
Come splash and move in a fun environment that takes the weight off your joints.  We've added additional water weights to offer another level of variety to this popular class.  Great for all ages!  Enter the Middle School through door #34.

EZ Yoga/Tai Chi
Poses are modified to be done from a seated  position or standing and are great for people with arthritis, and trouble getting up off the floor due to poor joints.  This class will work all muscles of the body but at your pace and limitations.  No special skills or previous training needed.  Please bring your own water and wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily and appropriate shoes.

is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a whiffle ball, over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis, with a few modifications. Pickle ball was invented in the mid-1960s as a children's backyard pastime but has become popular among adults as well.
Nets, paddles and temporary court lines will be provided. Supervisors will be volunteers at this time.

NOTE: Fitness Center members qualify for resident rates in any class offered.  This type of registration needs to occur in person with the recreation department.
